Datacenter interconnect: circuit maintenance (Telehouse West & Equinix LD6, UK)

Cloudhelix will be repatching inter-site links into alternate core hardware during this window.

During this time customers may see some very brief periods of intermittency to inter-site traffic as core routers reconverge over alternate circuits.

The nature of the work will also trigger core spanning-tree reconvergence events, however previous maintenance has shown that the vast majority of customer virtual machines are unaffected by these events.

Historically, the only observable impact has been experienced by bespoke customer VMs running latency-sensitive workloads, such as trading or telephony applications, and these customers will be contacted individually to confirm.

Storage maintenance: (Telehouse West, UK)

The Cloudhelix Pure Storage platform in this facility will be updated to the latest vendor-recommended version of the Purity operating environment during this window.

The upgrade is non-disruptive, so no downtime is expected. Cloudhelix are already running separate Pure arrays on the latest version in other deployments, with no adverse effects observed.
